WWI Trench Warfare Christmas TruceChristmas in the Trenches is a military re-enactment of the 1914 Christmas truce taking place 110 years ago during World War I. The soldiers in the Western front of the Great War called unofficial ceasefires during the week of Christmas. Enemies came together to decorate, exchange gifts, sing carols, and even play football.
